A Platform for Democrats

Polls continue to tell us that the economy continues to be the Number One source of concern for the voting public.  We were told the economy was the reason we lost in 2024. 

Our club will be endorsing candidates this year. About 50 of us met recently and we are proposing this platform for candidates to earn our endorsement:

      Six Plank Platform for Democrats             

1. Health Care for ALL 

2. Provide Education for all K – 12 & community colleges. 

3. Tax Reform so corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share.

4. Social Security – remove caps on income level

5. Immigration Reform

6. Support Working families with Child Care Programs, including school meals, plus job training for displaced and new workers.

Democratic candidates will agree with our goals and we will win elections in November and beyond with this platform.
